As Minister of Urban Development, Sameer Dey worked tirelessly to transform the face of Cuttack. His efforts led to the development of roads, bridges, sewage systems, and satellite cities, making Cuttack a model city for urban development. The CDA and JICA sewage projects, which he initiated, stand tall as testaments to his vision and commitment to the people of Cuttack.
A Passionate Advocate for Education
Sameer Dey was a passionate advocate for education, and his contributions to the field are immeasurable. He established universities, expanded access to knowledge and sight, and worked tirelessly to promote education among the masses.
