Chandrababu says now population is an asset, stressed for both population and technology (Ch. NARENDRA )

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who has initiated a nation-wide debate on the necessity of population growth stressing the need for increasing fertility rate, has said that once we thought that there would be losses due to high population, but now it is our asset. He said that all countries in the world are facing the problem of low population.

He participated as the chief guest in the “National Conclave on Deep Tech Innovation” conference led by the Global Forum for Sustainable Transformation in Visakhapatnam and inaugurated the conference on Friday. He said that we are working with the aim of eradicating poverty and that both population and technology are necessary.

Naidu recalled that one in every four IT professionals is an Indian and said that we are moving forward with the slogan “Four P”. He said that Visakhapatnam city is the knowledge hub of the future and that we are providing safe drinking water to the people of Andhra Pradesh, water for agriculture and industries.

He said that initially no one spoke for information technology, and at that time a high-tech city and high-tech towers were built in AP. He revealed that there were 20 engineering colleges in Rangareddy district, while there were 20 high schools once. He called for everyone to join hands to make Andhra Pradesh a knowledge hub.

Chandrababu Naidu said that they are working with the goal of increasing GDP by 15%, and that if the country’s GDP is 8 percent, Andhra Pradesh has developed by 8.7 percent. He said that they are going with the slogan of Zero Budget Natural Farming Development.

He revealed that there is a thousand kilometers of coastline for AP and that they have focused a lot on sea transport. He said that the logistic cargo is only 14%. Naidu recalled that AP was the first to bring electricity reforms and that the state has achieved good development in the power sector.

He also revealed that green hydrogen will soon be launched from our state. On this occasion, CM Chandrababu Naidu launched two books at the Visakhapatnam Deep Tech Conference, Swarnandhra Transformation India to Developed India and AI for Every One.
